Asa’s responsibilities include allocating the proper materials and labor resources to make Pacific Studio’s Fabrication Facility run smoothly. Pacific Studio typically has twelve to fifteen fabrication projects occurring at any given time, and Asa’s role is to insure that each and every project meets client expectations with respect to quality and timeliness.

As our Creative Director, Norm takes pride in creating exhibits that tell stories and reflect the unique character or history of an exhibit’s content. Exhibits designed by Norm can be seen throughout the Pacific Northwest, including past projects for groups like the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, the Northwest Carriage Museum, Woodland Park Zoo, the Clallam County Historical Society, and the Seattle Aquarium.

Grant started at Pacific Studio as a Project Manager, before moving into his current position as Projects Director. Grant’s role is to work with Project Managers to ensure they have the resources required to complete projects on-time and within budget.

Dawn joined Pacific Studio as Paint Shop Foreman before taking on the role of Project Manager. She has considerable experience, and has worked on many of our interactive heavy exhibits for clients such as the Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, Cedar River Watershed Education Center, Monterey Youth Museum and the Children’s Museum of Utah.

Julie manages the design and fabrication of exhibits. She has many special abilities, but perhaps her most valuable asset—and the one most frequently praised by clients—is her ability to keep a project on-track and organized. She has worked on many of our design / build projects for clients such as the National Museum of Wildlife Art and Clallam County Historical Society. Julie joined Pacific Studio after working as an Exhibits Project Manager at Vulcan.
Joshua Sanford: Project Manager

During his time with Pacific Studio, Josh has deftly managed a number of logistically challenging projects. He has mobilized in remote locations, negotiated international sea and air transport for large exhibit elements, orchestrated multifaceted, weeks-long installations and coordinated projects with a variety of subcontractors and other vendors. He has worked on projects for groups such as Girdwood, Inc., Prince William Sound Community College, Museum of Flight and Yakima Valley Museum.
Jon Harmon: Project Manager

Jon has managed projects involving large interactives, period replicas, dioramas, sculptures and lighting design. He has directed the fabrication of exhibits for groups such as the Park City Museum, Children’s Museum of Tacoma and the City of Bothell. In addition, before joining Pacific Studio, he worked as a lighting designer and consultant for the Pacific Northwest Theatre Associates.

Mark brings 25 years worth of experience to the Project Manager position. Since joining Pacific Studio, Mark has completed exhibit projects for groups such as the City of South Lake Tahoe, Nordic Heritage Museum and Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. Before joining Pacific Studio he worked as Vice President of Exhibits and Facilities at Pacific Science Center, and he also worked as Exhibit Production Manager for Experience Music Project / Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame.

Al has been involved in the management of Pacific Studio from 1995 to the present. In 2000 Al was named General Manager of Pacific Studio, and in 2008 he became CEO. He oversees all production, leads the management team, and serves as Project Director for special projects. He has worked on projects for the Children’s Museum of Utah, San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, Port Townsend Marine Science Center, and the Pacific Science Center.

Mac Perkins: Owner
Mac Perkins is the president and owner of Pacific Studio, and he is also our Lighting Control, AV, and Interactive Specialist. He has designed interactives for many of our projects, including the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum, the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, and the Cedar River Watershed Education Center.
